1~ first meet

Tia pov

As I walked through the familiar aisles of the library, I couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort and calmness wash over me. Being the librarian at this small town library was my dream job, and I took pride in keeping it organized and welcoming for our patrons. But today, my usual peaceful routine was interrupted by a sight that caught me off guard.

As I made my way to the front desk, I noticed an elderly woman sitting on a nearby bench on the street outside. Her head was hanging low, and her feet were bleeding. Without hesitation, I rushed out to her side, concern evident in my voice as I asked if she needed help.

The woman, whose name was Mrs. Roy, explained that she had been on her way to the library when she tripped and cut her feet on a sharp rock. Without wasting any time, I guided her inside and quickly grabbed some first aid supplies from the back room. After cleaning and bandaging her wounds, I offered to take her to the nearest hospital.

As we drove to the hospital, Mrs. Roy shared stories about her life and her family. She mentioned that her son, Rohan, was the CEO of Roy Private Limited, one of the most successful companies in town. I was surprised to hear this, as Rohan was known for his grumpiness and reluctance to interact with others.

Upon reaching the hospital, I helped Mrs. Roy inside and made sure she was being taken care of by the staff. It was then that Rohan arrived, looking worried and relieved at the same time. He thanked me for taking care of his mother and asked if there was anything he could do to repay me.

I politely declined his offer, but he insisted on giving me his contact information in case I needed anything in the future. I couldn't help but notice how handsome he was, despite his gruff demeanor. But before I could say anything, another nurse called his name, and he excused himself to go check on his mother.

As I watched him walk away, I couldn't shake off the feeling that this chance encounter was somehow meant to be. And little did I know, it was only the beginning of a upcoming life journey between Rohan and I.

After that incident

I sat at my desk in the library, surrounded by my beloved books. It was my sanctuary, a place where I could escape from the harsh realities of the world outside. As a brown girl, I had faced numerous challenges and obstacles in my life. People judged me based on the color of my skin, and it wasn't always easy to find acceptance.

But here in the library, I was free to be myself. I didn't have to worry about being judged or rejected. That is, until Rohan walked in.

But what surprised me the most was that he stopped by my desk to chat. He asked me "hey how are you" so thats we start to taking. I am just so surprised to his action . But he just try to be friendly because I save his mother life .He didn't treat me any differently because I was a brown girl. He didn't make me feel inferior or less worthy. In fact, he treated me with respect and genuine interest.

I couldn't help but feel flattered by his attention. It was a refreshing change from the way people usually treated me. I had grown accustomed to being ignored or overlooked, especially when it came to dating.

You see, many marriage proposals had been rejected because of my skin color. In our society, fair skin was considered the ideal beauty standard. And as a result, I had faced numerous rejections and hurtful comments. It made me question my worth and wonder if I would ever find someone who would love me for who I am.

From that day on, Rohan would often stop by the library to chat with me, and we would even go out for coffee or lunch during our breaks. I learned that his grumpiness was just a facade, and that he was actually a kind and caring person, just like his mother.

As we got to know each other better, I couldn't help but feel grateful for that fateful day when I stumbled upon Mrs. Roy on the street. It was like fate had brought us together, and I was thankful for the opportunity to know such an amazing family.

And as for Mrs. Roy, she made a full recovery and would often visit the library with her son, proudly introducing me as the kind librarian who had helped her in her time of need. From that day on, I knew that my job at the library was more than just organizing books; it was about connecting with people and making a difference in their lives.

But suddenly this friendship turned into something which I never imagined in my life
